Valley Meadows’ Chris Knutson created a minor sensation with his stop-motion tribute to his newborn son Henry, which was picked up by the Associated Press. Prior to Henry’s birth, Chris had mentioned how funny he’d think it’d be to film a series of 80’s buddy cop sketches with his baby dressed like a cop, but nobody acknowledges that the cop is a baby.

Following the success of the stop-motion video, we gathered a few volunteer friends, including local comedians Pat Susmilch and the late great Gus Lynch, one afternoon and filmed the episodes in quick succession. The result is Baby Cop – a very silly series of shorts that I’m fond of.
